Four Flash Games Now Downloadable

Flash will soon be dead. Future Proof Games, and the game community in general, owes an enormous debt to the Flash development zeitgeist of roughly 2004-2014. My (Gregory's) Flash games have led to two different FPG releases: Exploit: Zero Day and "The Majesty of Colors" Remastered. However, most browsers' support for Flash is now minimal, and Flash itself will reach End of Life at the end of 2020, ceasing all security updates and making the use of Flash in browsers unsafe.

In order to preserve the games that are important to us, we've packaged four of our favorites as executable projectors and made them available on itch.io. That means you can download them and run them on Windows and OSX, and we've also included non-sitelocked SWFs for folks who are savvy enough to play those locally. These executables should remain safe and functional even after the sunset of Flash.

The original Flash versions of "(I Fell In Love With) The Majesty of Colors", * How to Raise a Dragon*, Silent Conversation, and * Exploit*, made in 2008-2009 by Gregory Avery-Weir, are now available to download for free.

Check out the newly-packaged games on itch.io. While you're there, stop by and check out our other titles, which are currently half-off in the itch.io Holiday Sale!
