Our upcoming remastered release, "(I Fell in Love With) The Majesty of Colors)", has a long history already. Here are a few links chronicling interesting events in the game's life!
-
The Majesty of Colors Released! - This is the original release post for the game, made in December 2008. I'd released a couple games before this one, but "Majesty" is the first game that really took off.
-
Casual Gameplay 2008 Artgame Audience Award - Probably the first notable award for the game. Majesty got the Audience Award for "Best Interactive Art or Webtoy." The editors' selections were Incredibots and I Wish I Were the Moon, both excellent games.
-
GameSetWatch Postmortem - The folks at GameSetWatch, for whom I did a column on game design at the time, asked if I'd be interested in doing a postmortem for the game. I was able to share quite a bit about the process and reception of the game.
-
Rock, Paper, Shotgun Post - RPS is one of my favorite game blogs, so it was amazing to be featured there for the first time.
-
February 2009 Update - A previous link collection of news items about the game a few months after release.
-
Remastering Announcement - Almost eight years after the original release, we announced the remastered version of the game. Our hope is that it brings this weird little story to new people in a nicer-looking and more accessible form.
And now for a few final links:

- Majesty on Steam (Add us to your wishlist!)
- Majesty on Itch.io (Will be DRM-free plus a Steam key!)
We hope to have the game out sometime this summer.
